Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk together all the sauce ingredients: minced garlic, honey, kecap manis, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and grated ginger. Set aside.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan or wok over a medium-high heat. Add the prawns and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are just cooked through.
Pour the prepared sauce over the prawns in the pan. Allow it to bubble and simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously to coat the prawns, until the sauce has thickened into a sticky glaze.
Serve the prawns immediately, garnished with sliced spring onions and red chilli, if using. Perfect with a side of steamed rice.
